How it works

A simple bridge between finder and owner

A better chance of getting your lost items back — no batteries, no tracking, no app for the finder.

For owners

1

Attach

Every ReturnMePlz product carries the U-Arrow mark — a small promise that this item has a way home. Stick a label on a bottle, slip a sleeve onto your glasses, clip a tag to your keys.

2

Activate online in seconds

Each tag has a unique code. Enter it at returnmeplz.com/activate, add how you'd like to be reached, and you're done. Your personal details are never printed on the tag.

3

If it's found, you'll know

A finder scans the QR code or taps the NFC tag with their phone. They see a friendly page with your item's name and a simple way to message you — nothing more.

4

Reunited

You and the finder arrange the return in whatever way suits you both. Another belonging finds its way home.

Video placeholder — 30-second explainer: a finder picks up lost glasses, taps the sleeve, messages the owner, hands them back. Warm, real, unstaged feel.
For finders

Found something? You're the hero.

If you've found an item with the U-Arrow mark, thank you — you're exactly the kind of person this whole thing is built on.

Scan the QR code with your phone camera, or tap the tag if it says Tap to Return. Can't scan? Enter the 6-character code printed on the tag at returnmeplz.com.

You'll see the item's name and a simple way to message the owner. No app to download, no account to create, nothing to pay.

The technology, briefly

Scan to Return. Tap to Return.

Two simple technologies, one job: connecting a kind stranger with an item's way home.

Scan to Return — QR

On our labels and stickers. Works with any phone camera, in any country, with no app. Every QR label also carries a 6-character code as a fallback for finders who can't scan.

Tap to Return — NFC

On our premium products, like the eyewear sleeve. So discreet it reads as a design detail, not a gadget. A finder simply holds their phone against it — most modern smartphones read NFC out of the box.
